Nihil Habentes, Omnia Possidentes ~ As Having Nothing, Yet
Possessing All Things
This is the motto of the All Saints Sisters of the Poor
Ten miles from the center of Baltimore City, Maryland, on 88
rolling acres, stands a small Episcopal religious community.
Minutes beyond the loud, speeding traffic of the beltway live a group
of individuals who have chosen a monastic lifestyle, profess a vow of
poverty, and seek simplicity.
On this hilltop you will notice a rhythm of life. In a chaotic world, listening to the voice of the Divine is difficult. Here an even rhythm is set by the daily timetable, the weekly celebration of the Lord's Day, and the movement of the year through the feasts and seasons of the Church.
